Abstract
⺠Catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) are an underestimated problem. ⺠A cultivation system which mimics the conditions in a CAUTI was developed. ⺠The biofilm growth of 3 clinical Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates was determined. ⺠Strain specific parameters to characterize biofilms could be identified.
