Abstract
⺠A new affinity column was designed to prepare modified A60-Ag compared to unmodified Ag to prepare Abs for the TB-Rapid test. ⺠Antibody prepared from modified Ag compared to unmodified A60 showed higher sensitivity, specificity, PPV and NPV. ⺠This minor modification of a commercially available test has led to a significant improvement in point-of-care testing of TB.
