Abstract
⺠We developed a conditional lethal Salmonella mutant construct. ⺠Recombinant vectors were prepared via fusion at translational level between araC ParaBAD and the asd gene. ⺠Strains carrying recombinant vectors are unable to survive ex vivo. ⺠Growth inhibition of the strains was demonstrated by arabinose depletion in M9 minimal medium.
