Abstract
► Biofilm formation by Candida spp. varies depending on the type of material on which it grows and on the strain of Candida. ► The method we propose could be of great use to deepen scientific knowledge on this subject. ► In our study biofilms were counted in CFU/ml. ► We used SBD medium supplemented with galactose, which can promote biofilm formation in Candida species other than C. albicans.
