Abstract
In this paper, an antenna designed for proximity fuse was presented. This antenna working on a high order mode which had a side radiation pattern. It had a simple construction, only two tiny sector units was added in an ordinary circuit antenna. Main frequency of antenna was separated into two frequency (f+ and f_) based on variational theory. Both in each frequency the antenna had side radiation pattern on the condition that it working on high order mode TM21. The Gain could satisfy requirements of proximity fuse. The simulation approved the veracity of the analysis.
