Abstract
We develop an efficient chemo/photothermal therapy system and propose an alternating photothermal strategy based on iodine-loaded acetylated amylose nanohelix clusters under the guidance of molecular dynamic simulation. In this system, iodine efficiently acts the dual functions of chemotherapy and photothermal therapy. Meanwhile, the system has advantages of temperature self-regulation, and deep-seated photothermal by unique reversible thermochromism for tumor elimination.304
