Abstract
Diabetes has a varied impact on oral health, especially because it is not properly balanced. Rigorous and coordinated follow-up is essential. Care is performed in the dental office, but pharmacists must be familiar with the consequences of poor hygiene in diabetic patients. The pharmacist can provide appropriate advice and encourage regular visits to the dentist.
