Abstract
Surveyed hospitals are, on average, at an intermediate level in hand hygiene practice but require improvements on training-education, evaluation-feedback, and safety climate. Ensuring adequate IPC nurse staffing levels and systematically implementing multimodal IPC programs may lead to substantial improvements.
