Abstract
The article is dedicated to the history of the “Musaget” publishing house and to the publication of Argo (1914), the second poetry book of the Russian poet Ėllis (Lev Kobylinskii). It contains a reconstruction of preparatory work and the process of edition of Argo, based on archival materials – letters of Ėllis, Medtner and other members of “Musaget”. It considers the problem of E.K. Medtner's role in Ėllis's further literary destiny.
