Abstract
Using balanced incomplete block designs with two plots per block, new three-level second order designs involving an arbitrary number of factors are obtained. These designs can easily be blocked orthogonally into blocks of reasonable sizes and are seen to have high DD-efficiencies. Orthogonally blocked augmented pairs designs with at most six factors are also constructed.
