Abstract
⺠The ZFS and g factors of ground and the first exited states of emerald are interpreted theoretically. ⺠The influences to g factors from CF parameters and orbital reduction factor have been studied. ⺠The g factors of ground state varied with CF parameters by a linear relation approximately. ⺠The g factors of the first excited state varied nonlinearly with these parameters. ⺠The dependence of k of g factors of 2E state is more sensitive than that of 4A2 state.
