Abstract
► Dynamics of liposome adhesion at mercury interface is explored. ► Amperometric signals were analyzed with reaction kinetics and mechanical models. ► The reaction kinetics model identifies temporal evolution of three distinct states. ► The mechanical model provides a physical interpretation of these states. ► Liposome content is released through transient pores formed in the cap membrane.
