Abstract
⺠Mg2FeH6 synthesis by ball milling (MgH2 + Fe) followed by sintering is presented. ⺠Influence of milling time on reaction yield is presented. ⺠Reaction yield as high as 97% was obtained. ⺠It was shown that too short and too long milling may decrease reaction yield. ⺠Isothermal absorption of Mg + Fe mixture leads to MgH2 + Mg2FeH6 mixture formation.
