Abstract
⺠A new power plant for the valorization of small size waste wet biomass is presented. ⺠A kinetic and fluidodynamic model of the gasifier is presented and validated. ⺠A simple SOFC model is presented and validated. ⺠The system converts waste biomass to electricity at a First Law efficiency of 48%. ⺠The electrical efficiency decreases from 48% to 34%when moisture content increases.
