Abstract
⺠We carry out vented explosion tests of H2/air/N2 mixtures with water mists. ⺠The flammable region of H2/air/N2 mixes reduces in the presence of fine water mist. ⺠Together the effect of nitrogen and water mist was greater than either used alone. ⺠Water mist reduces the rate of pressure rise, consistent with its effect on LBV.
