Abstract
Porous Pd bulks with high porosities are prepared by a powder metallurgical method. Dynamic deuterium gas loading processes of the bulks have been characterized with an initial D2D2 amount of 1.36×10-2mol at 298 K in a system with a nominal initial pressure of 890.28 torr. The loading process can be completed within 240 s and the final D/Pd ratio is 0.635. A model of asymptotic reaction is also presented to describe the dynamic deuterium gas loading processes of prepared porous Pd bulks.
