Abstract
Cations of divalent europium with ethylenedisulfonate anions form three-dimensional polymeric compound, which shows rather intense luminescence with λmax = 408 nm at 77 K and weak antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic interactions at liquid helium temperatures.
