Abstract
The heterobimetallic complex Ba2(μ-OAc)4(OAc)2Cu4(μ-dmae)4(OH)2 (1), synthesized by the direct reaction of Ba(dmae)2 and Cu(OAc)2 · H2O in toluene, was characterized by melting point, CHNS, FT-IR, TGA, mass spectrometry and single crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex (1) was used at 400 °C to deposit thin films of CuO-Ba2Cu3O5+x composite which were characterized by XRPD, SEM and EDX.
