Abstract
The presence of Cr, Mn, Fe and W in ternary metal-carbon nanoparticles induces the variation of their stability, which follows the order: Cr < Mn < Fe < W >. The metal-carbon interaction was found to play the key role in the variation of binding energy of investigated clusters. The investigation of the spin moments ordering allows one to predict the way for increasing the magnetic moment of metal-carbon clusters.
