Abstract
Various Mn benzoate sources/methyl 2-pyridyl ketone oxime reaction systems have led to a mononuclear MnII complex and an antiferromagnetically-coupled (S = 0) octanuclear cluster containing the [MnII4MnIII4(μ4-O)2(μ3-OH)2]14+ core.
