Abstract
Several organophosphorus acids of type [{XP(OEt)2}(O2SR)]NH [XÂ =Â O, RÂ =Â Me, Ph, C6H4CH3-4; XÂ =Â S, RÂ =Â C6H4Cl-4], as well as their potassium salts K[{XP(OEt)2}(O2SR)N] and the palladium(II) complexes Pd[{XP(OEt)2}(O2SR)N]2 were prepared and structurally characterized. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies revealed either monomeric or polymeric structures with different degrees of association in case of the free acids. A trans-S,N-coordination pattern of the organophosphorus ligand was found in the palladium complex Pd[{SP(OEt)2}(O2SC6H4Cl-4)N]2.
