Abstract
⺠Two new Mn6 clusters were synthesized, structurally and magnetically characterized. ⺠They are both new members of the Mn6 SMM system with relatively large energy barriers around 45 K for S = 4 ground state. ⺠These complexes are possible Au-surface binding candidates for the preparation of monolayer SMM.
