Abstract
⺠Heterometallic molecular complexes with {Li2M2} (M = Co,Ni) metal core were synthesized. ⺠Thermal decomposition of {Li2M2} compounds leads to formation of LiMO2 below 500 °C. ⺠{Li2M2} complexes are molecular precursor for cathode materials.
