Abstract
Reaction of copper(II) perchlorate, 3-aminopropanol, ammonia and methanal forms a compound 3,7-bis(3-olatopropyl)-1,3,5,7-tetraazabicyclo[3,3,1]nonane with an approximately centrosymmetrical trinuclear cation.
