Abstract
The electron spin dynamics of the molecule-based ferromagnet decamethylferrocenium tetracyanoethenide, [FeCp2â][TCNE], has been investigated at a local level using 1H NMR experiments. The NMR relaxation measurements verify that [FeCp2â][TCNE] is an 1D ferromagnetic Ising-like chain with significant short range order at temperatures above the magnetic ordering transition.
