Abstract
[Cu(hipp)2(bim)2]·PrOH·0.25H2O (1) has been prepared in a one pot synthesis. The crystal structure of 1 consists of layers formed by molecules of the complex and solvent connected via hydrogen bonds. The unsymmetrical CuN2O2 core has been investigated by a spectroscopic (EPR and UV-Vis) magnetic study. DFT calculations have been performed.
