Abstract
2-hydroxy-1-(2â²-alkylthiophenylazo)naphthalenes (HL) react with disodium tetrachloropalladate at room temperature and afford monomeric palladium(II) complexes having O,N,S coordination sphere. The resulting complexes have been characterized by single crystal X-ray crystallography.
