Abstract
Complex [Mn(Hpchc)2(o-phen)] formed with Nâ²-(pyridine-3-carbonyl)-hydrazine-carbodithioic acid ethyl ester (H2pchc) has MnN4O2 coordination and the ligand behaves as uninegative bidenate donor and forms a five membered chelate ring. In complex, the ortho C-H bond from o-phen ring forms an unusual C-Hâ¯Ï intramolecular interaction with MnOCN2 chelate ring which gives structural support for metalloaromaticity in the complex.
