Transition metal complexes with thiosemicarbazide-based ligand - Part LV: Synthesis and X-ray structural study of novel Ni(II) complexes with pyridoxal semicarbazone and pyridoxal thiosemicarbazone

The syntheses and physico-chemical characteristcs of Ni(II) complexes of pyridoxal semicarbazone (PLSC) and pyridoxal thiosemicarbazone (PLTSC), obtained in the presence (1-3)/absence (4) of NaN3, viz. [Ni2(PLSC)2(μ1,1-N3)2(N3)2] · 2H2O (1), [Ni(PLSC-H)2] · 2H2O (2), [Ni(PLTSC-H)N3] · H2O (3) and [Ni(PLTSC)2](NO3)2 · H2O (4) are described. The octahedral complexes 1, 2 and 4 are characterized also by X-ray monocrystal diffraction method.
