Influence of the anion on the coordination mode of an unsymmetrical N-heterocyclic ligand in Cd(II) complexes: From discrete molecule to one- and two-dimensional structures

We have designed and synthesized five new complexes with 0D-1D helical chain, 1D stair-like chains and 2D layered structures in the presence of different anions. The luminescent properties of the complexes have also been investigated in the solid state at room temperature.
