Abstract
The pyridine-based ligands 2-mercapto pyridine n-oxide (H-2MPO) and 3,3â²-dihydroxy-2,2â²-bipyridine (H2-OBPy) were used to modify group 4 alkoxides forming: (2MPO)2Ti(OR)2 and [(OR)2M(μc-OBPy)]3 (M = Ti (shown), Zr). The synthesis and characterization of these compounds are presented.
