Abstract
The reactions between cis-[PtCl2(dmso)2] and ligands ArCHNCH2(4-ClC6H4) (L) are reported and the influence of the cis or trans arrangement of the coordination compounds [PtCl2(L)dmso] on the success of the cyclometallation reaction is discussed.
