Abstract
The complex of the general formula (dad)MoCl2 [3ai, 3bi, 3c] (dad = R′NC(R)–C(R)NR′) is obtained in one step by reduction of [MoCl4(thf)2] (1) in the presence of dad ligands (dab: ai, Ar-BIAN: bi, Ph-BIC: c) (2). All new complexes have been characterized by IR and NMR spectroscopy. The X-ray single-crystal diffraction of 3a2 reveals a relatively tetrahedral coordination geometry.
Graphical abstractSix new molybdenum complexes of formulae (dad)MoCl2 [3ai, 3bi, 3c] (dad = R′NC(R)–C(R)NR′) have been synthesized and characterized by various physicochemical methods. The X-ray structure determination of 3a2 reveals a relatively tetrahedral coordination geometry.Figure optionsDownload full-size imageDownload as PowerPoint slide
