Abstract
Three novel Cd(II) coordination polymers have been prepared and structurally characterized. In polymer 1, C4BIm-Cd chains and N3-Cd chains criss-cross to a layer structure (C4BIm = 1,4-bis(benzimidazolyl)butane). Polymer 2 possesses a concave-convex chain structure. Polymer 3 exhibits a two-dimensional rhomboid grid network structure. The solid-state fluorescence and thermal properties of the three complexes were also investigated.
