Abstract
The reaction of [ReCl6]2â with diazines in hot dmf affords the title compounds. Cyclic voltammetry studies show a one-electron reduction step for both complexes. Large zero-field splitting values and weak intermolecular antiferromagnetic interactions account for the observed magnetic behaviour.
