Abstract
New η3-allyl cationic complexes of palladium (II) supported by new ligands, the unsymmetrical β-diimines, have been synthesized and characterized. The X-ray structure determination of the complex (10) [PhCN(Ar)CH2CN(Ar)(Me)Pd(η3-C4H7)]+[PF6]â (Ar = 2,6-iPr2-C6H3) reveals a slightly distorted square planar arrangement around the metal and a unsymmetrical coordination of the β-iminoamine and allyl ligands.
