Abstract
A tetranuclear cluster [Et4N]2[WOS3Cu(dppe)]2 · H2O (1), and two polymeric complexes [WS4Cu2(dppe)2]n (2) and [Et4N]2[WEEâ²S2Ag(dppe)]2 · CH3CN (E = 0.636S + 0.364O, Eâ²Â = 0.581O + 0.419S) (3) have been prepared by solution and solvothermal reactions, respectively. The W and Cu atoms in 2 form a helical chain while the anion of 3 displays a zig-zag chain structure. The optical absorption spectra and the solid-state photoluminescent properties of these complexes are also studied.
