Assembly and structures of five new Cu(II) complexes based on the V-shaped building block [Cu(dbsf)]

Five new copper(II) complexes of 4,4′-dicarboxybiphenyl sulfone with auxiliary ligands are reported. All of the complexes are assembled from V-shaped building blocks of [Cu(dbsf)], showing 0D rhombic dimer, 1D chain and 2D catenane-like layer structures.
