Abstract
Crystals of monoaxially coordinated by 4-picoline BePc (BePc(4-Mepy)) and biaxially ligated MgPc (MgPc(4-Me)2) complexes transform in wet 4-picoline into aqua(phthalocyaninato) complexes, while monoaxially ligated ZnPc (ZnPc(4-Mepy)) transforms into microcrystalline β-ZnPc. Depending on the crystallisation condition two crystalline form of aqua(magnesium)phthalocyaninato complexes containing different number of 4-picoline molecules as a solvent in the crystalline network are obtained.
