Abstract
Monothiocarboxylate complexes of molybdenum of the type CpMo(CO)3SCOR [RÂ =Â Me (1), CH2Cl (2), Ph (3), 4-C6H4NO2 (4), 3,5-C6H3(NO2)2 (5)] have been obtained by the reaction of the hydrosulfido complex, CpMo(CO)3SH, with acid chlorides. Complexes 1-5 have been characterized by IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy, elemental analyses and by the X-ray diffraction method for 3.
