Abstract
Cis-[M(CO)4(α/β-NaiRâ²)] (M = Cr(0), Mo(0) and α/β-NaiRâ²Â = 1-alkyl-2-(naphthyl-α/β-azo)-imidazoles) are described in this work. Fluorescence shows a Ï-Ïâ emission. Cyclic voltammetry gives two metal centred oxidations, M+/M0 and M2+/M+, and two ligand centred reductions, azo/azoâ and azoâ/azo=.
