Abstract
The crystal structures and structural pathway in a series of five-coordinated complexes [Cu(dpyam)2(NCO)][Y] complexes when Y = Brâ (1), CF3SO3-(2), BF4-·dpyam(3), Clâ · 4H2O (4), NO3-(5), PF6-(6), ClO4-(7) and BPh4-(8), respectively have been studied.The distorted structures of these complexes vary from trigonal bipyramidal distorted square based pyramidal (TBDSBP) geometry to square base pyramidal distorted trigonal bipyramidal (SBPDTB) geometry with Ï values of 0.09-0.76, respectively.
