Abstract
The reaction of Ti(6,6-dmch)2 with 1,2-C2H4Cl2 led to the formation of the one-dimensional chloride-bridged polymer, [Ti(6,6-dmch)Cl2]n, with a four-legged piano stool geometry (dmch = dimethylcyclohexadienyl). A mono(6,6-dmch) complex of zirconium, Zr(6,6-dmch)Br3(dmpe), was isolated from the reaction of Zr(6,6-dmch)2Br2 with dmpe (1,2-dimethylphosphinoethane).
