Abstract
2-Acetylpyridine was condensed with NH2(CH2)nNH2 (n = 2,3,4). The di-Schiff base complexes of copper(II) were obtained for simulating superoxide dismutase. Studies on the relationship between dismutase O−2 ability and coordination configuration were made. Linear relationships were obtained between E12 of CuIIL/CuIL, g‖/A‖ and catalytic activities of these complexes, respectively.
