Abstract
⺠Oligothiophene-functionalized phenanthroline chromophores were synthesized. ⺠Their optoelectronic properties were regulated by symmetrical or unsymmetrical substituents. ⺠Their morphological structure ranged from crystalline to amorphous character. ⺠The effects of molecular structures on electronic structure were demonstrated.
