Abstract
Two novel compounds with the molecular formula (H3O)3[PM12O40]·3(C28H40O10) [where C28H40O10 = dibenzo-30-crown-10 and M = W (1) or Mo (2)] were isolated in the solid state and their crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compounds were further characterized using FT-IR, FT-Raman, solid-state magic-angle-spinning NMR and elemental analysis. These supramolecular organic–inorganic hybrid frameworks are formed by one α-Keggin-type [PM12O40]3− polyoxoanion and three {(H3O)(C28H40O10)}+ monocationic hydrogen-bonded fragments.
