Abstract
The subject of the present study is l-lysine dioxalate in monohydrate (l-Lys·2H2C2O4·H2O) and anhydrous (l-Lys·2H2C2O4) forms. The preparation of l-Lys·2H2C2O4·H2O and l-Lys·2H2C2O4 are described. Crystal and molecular structures of l-Lys·2H2C2O4·H2O are determined by the X-ray diffraction method. Thermal properties and vibrational spectra are discussed.
