Abstract
The pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid (pdcH2) reacts as first ligand under hydrothermal conditions, with Ni(NO3)2·6H2O to form 1D coordination polymers in the presence of 5-phenyl-2,4′-bipyridine as second ligand. The structure of coordinational polymer is characterized by X-ray crystallography, variable temperature magnetic measurements, IR spectra, elemental and thermal gravimetric analyses.
