Abstract
The Charge-transfer complex was prepared and characterized by different techniques such as FTIR, 1HNMR. Spectrophotometric studies were also performed in different polar solvents at room temperature to calculate of association constant KCT and the values of molar extinction coefficient εCT. Absorption maxima were observed in each case. Formation constant for the complexes in different polar solvents at room temperature determined from the BH plots. Relation between [A] 0/A and 1/[D] 0 of CLA + PNA in three solvents. viz-chloroform, ethanol and methanol.
