Abstract
Two novel compounds based on saturated Wells-Dawson polyoxometalate and copper-organonitrogen coordination polymer, (NH4)3(4,4â²-H2bipy)[CuI(4,4â²-bipy)]7[P2W18O62]2·10H2O 1 and [CuII(en)(2,2â²-bipy)]3[P2W18O62]·3H2O 2 (en = ethylenediamine, bipy = bipyridine), have been hydrothermally synthesized. The structure of 1 represents the first 2-D network consisted of saturated Wells-Dawson polyoxoanions and transition-metal coordination polymers. Compound 2 is a novel Wells-Dawson polyoxoanion supported by two copper(II) complex fragments with mixed en and 2,2â²-bipy ligands in a single W3O13 triplet.
